Hi, I’m Mona Liza, and like you, I’m a parent doing my best to get it right. When the world felt uncertain in 2020, I began writing simple rhymes for my son, Michael Blade, to help him feel safe, understood, and loved. What started as a mother’s way of comforting her child has grown into over 40 books across different genres and categories, each one created with its own core message to support emotional literacy, kindness, and confidence in children.
As a mother, I know our greatest hope is for our children to feel safe, valued, and deeply loved. My books are more than stories. They are gentle tools that help shape how children see themselves and how they treat others, encouraging a kinder, more empathetic world for the generations growing up in today’s fast-changing, technology-driven environment. I also have a special love for playful, spooky tales, inspired by my grandmother, who always shared her love for ghost stories with me.
Inspired by my Filipino roots and my travels to over 70 countries, this space was created for families like yours to support children in becoming confident, compassionate individuals who understand their worth and carry kindness wherever they go. I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome!
How these stories support your family...

Whether you are reading together at bedtime, navigating big emotions, or simply looking for a moment to slow down and connect, these stories are here to support you. Each book is designed to gently guide children through real feelings and everyday experiences, helping them build confidence, empathy, and a stronger sense of who they are.
You do not need to have all the answers. Sometimes, the right story can help open the door to the conversations your child needs most.
Because every day brings different feelings, I’ve organized my stories to meet you and your child right where you are. Whether you are looking for a calm way to end the day, support through a tough emotion, or even a little spooky fun, you can find the story that fits your moment.

Here are a few places to begin, depending on what your child may need today.

Every child is different, and every day brings something new.

The right story, at the right moment, can make all the difference.

Sometimes, it only takes one story to help a child feel seen, understood and enough.
